Advanced Coated Steels for new demanding Biomass Firing environment having a high recycling behaviour and an improved service life

Today huge efforts are required to develop advanced steel having increased performances for firing of opportunity fuels technology sector where corrosion and erosion are still severe phenomena.
This proposal aims to improve the high temperature corrosion and erosion resistance of advanced steels by the application of new aluminide coatings deposited by special manufacturing process (Pack cementation-slurry coating diffusion) for aggressive environment focusing on corrosion resistance and workability (bending/joining) characterized by high adherence and preservation of substrate mechanical/thermal properties.
